  Robotic Inspection System

  CMP Automation designs and manufactures automatic testing equipment for the automotive industry. This Testing Cell was created to verify the correct assembly and function of a Touch Sensor assembly. A five axis robot was fitted with an offset probe and programmed to follow the 3D profile of the Touch Sensor. This ensured proper assembly of the Sensor into the mounting frame.
